Help us make rescue events fun, organized, and successful! Event Assistance volunteers can help with setup and cleanup, greeting attendees, talking with potential adopters and supporters, helping with our Pugs, managing event activities, selling merchandise, and capturing photos and videos for social media Whether you can help for an hour or stay for the whole event, having an extra set of hands makes a big difference!
Foster Field Trips are flexible day trips that can include anything from a coffee run or training class to a playdate, daycare visit, shopping trip, or simply hanging out somewhere new. The most important part? Capture photos and videos along the way! Your content helps us showcase each dog’s personality on social media, giving potential adopters a glimpse of what they’re like in the real world and helping them get one step closer to finding their forever home.
Help us raise awareness, build community support, and raise the funds our Pugs need! Fundraising & Outreach volunteers can help with fundraising campaigns, donation drives, community partnerships, sponsorships, outreach to local businesses, and spreading the word about our rescue. Whether you have a great fundraising idea, love connecting with people, or want to help us find new supporters, your efforts directly help us save and care for more Pugs.
Help us make sure our Pugs are going to safe, loving homes! Home Assessment volunteers visit potential adopters to help evaluate their home environment, yard and fencing, safety considerations, and overall readiness to welcome a rescue Pug. You’ll help us gather important information and give our adoption team another perspective when finding the best possible match for each dog.
Help our Pugs get where they need to go! Help provide transportation for vet appointments, meet-and-greets, owner surrenders, adoption events, and other rescue-related outings. Whether you can help with an occasional ride or become one of our go-to drivers, your time behind the wheel helps keep our dogs safe, supported, and moving one step closer to their forever homes.
Give our foster families a helping hand! Volunteers can provide occasional care for adoptable dogs when their foster family needs a little extra support. This may include a potty break, walk, playtime, or keeping a foster company while their family is away at work. Your help gives our foster families more flexibility and helps ensure every Pug in our care gets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need.
Can’t commit to long-term fostering? Short-Term Fostering is a great way to make a big difference! Help care for a Pug for a few days or weeks while their regular foster is traveling, needs a break, or while we’re waiting for the right long-term placement. You’ll provide a safe, loving home and help keep a Pug comfortable and supported while they wait for their next step.
Help us tell our Pugs’ stories and get them seen! Volunteers can capture photos and videos, create Reels and TikToks, design graphics, brainstorm content ideas, and help create engaging posts that showcase our adoptable dogs and rescue work. Whether you’re a photographer, graphic designer, social media pro, or just love creating fun content, your creativity can help a Pug get noticed—and one step closer to finding their forever home.
